We recruit on behalf of a range of SMEs who you would meet at final round interview. The scheme will allow you to gain practical experience and a six-month training and development programme.

Embedded Systems Engineer
Ideal Degree Disciplines: Relevant degree, for example a relevant scientific/engineering discipline.
What you will be doing:
- Your key role is supporting the development of Adaptive Thermal Tiles (AATs) technology and application opportunities in the defence sector, developing a design which is compatible with ash environmental conditions.
- Working on electronic integration of multiple tiles to cover large areas.
- Work with other material engineers, product development manager and co-founders to accelerate the TRL level of SmartIR technology.
- Build direct customer and stakeholder relationships to assist in ensuring effective project delivery.
- Have specific responsibility for development projects that require the design and manufacture of the SmartIR ATTs solutions and their integration on end-user applications.
- Electronic engineering skills (Raspberry pies, PCBs, Microprocessors, general integration).
- Familiarity with Electronics CAD software (schematics and PCB layout)
Acoustic Consultant
Ideal Degree Disciplines: Relevant degree, for example Acoustics or Architecture (with acoustic modules). Must have a driving license and car.
What you will be doing:
- Noise surveys and sound insulation tests.
- Writing clear, concise reports using plain English and allow time for your report to be checked.
- Have an informed understating of British Standards, legislation, guidance and good practice that relate to acoustics and regularly attend local brand IoA meetings.
- You will need to achieve ANC accreditation for sound insulation testing within the first few months of starting.
- Dependable when out doing noise surveys and arranging your own time, hotels, etc.
- Adept at Microsoft Word and Excel packages and keen to work hard.
- Must have a driving license and car.
3D & 4D Modelling
Ideal Degree Disciplines: Relevant degree, for example Architecture, Construction, Games Design, etc.
What you will be doing:
- Full lifecycle of a production from brief to post-production.
- Modelling landscapes using Google map as a reference.
- Modelling structures using importing/editing/working with Revit models.
- Texturing, lighting and animating.
- Post-production using Adobe Creative Suites.
- Experience in 3D Studio Max, After effects, AutoCAD & Revit would be preferred but not essential.
Electrical Engineer & Embedded Developer
Ideal Degree Disciplines: MEng/MSc in Electrical Engineering
What you will be doing:
- Circuit design
- Physical circuit testing
- Software circuit simulation
- Schematic capture
- Parts selection
- Bill of Material analysis
- Cost optimisation
- Footprint creation

3D Animator
Ideal Degree Disciplines: Relevant degree, for example 3D Animation, Game Design, Software Development, etc.
What you will be doing:
- Animating 3D assets, be it characters or objects within scenes.
- Taking responsibility for animations created to ensure quality and smooth movement through the workflow.
- Contribute creatively to jobs from conception to completion.
- Follow and interpret a brief whilst delivering high end animations.
- Collaborate with the leads and directors; effective communication is essential.
- Confident and creative approach to your animation and the ability to give characters unique personalities and emotions.
Audit & Accounts Trainee
Ideal Degree Disciplines: Relevant degree, for example Accountancy & Finance.
What you will be doing:
- Carrying out audit and accounts assignments either in the office or at clients’ premises.
- Carrying out basic account preparation work for a wide range of clients.
- Checking or analysing client’s financial information, purchase and sales invoices.
- Checking bank balances and bank statements.
- Reviewing client payroll records for accuracy.
- Ensuring sound knowledge of a client and its industry by researching background information and useful publications.
- Developing communication skills and build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Utilising audit and accounting software.
- Developing and applying technical knowledge gained from studies and on the job experience.
- Attending in-house technical training as required.
- Having an awareness of the various services provided by the company.
Electrical Engineer
Ideal Degree Disciplines: Relevant engineering degrees, for example Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
What you will be doing:
- Layout small power and data
- Layout fire alarm systems
- Prepare lighting calculations & select light fittings
- Produce lighting schedules
- Prepare a containment drawing
- Develop security strategy, Intruder Alarm, CCTV & Staff Attack
- Develop Access Control strategy
- Develop Nurse Call strategy

- Draw up main electrical distribution schematics

Software Developer
(Multiple Roles available; Front-end, Back-end, Developer, Programmer, Coding)
Ideal Software Knowledge: Unity / C#, C, C++ / Ruby & Ruby on Rails / Java script / HTML / PHP
What you will be doing:
- Working with the Senior Management Team to create new products, features and functionality.
- Developing back-end applications.
- Working with the Development Team to help build connectors to plug into 3rd party software.
- Writing high quality, maintainable code, debugging code and fixing bugs.
- Considering the performance traits of code, weighing up runtime performance vs memory constraints
- Managing user experience (UX & User interface).
- Using WordPress, coding languages including HTML and CSS and design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch)
Graphic Designer
Ideal Degree Disciplines: Graphic Design, Animation, Video Gaming, Digital Marketing or other relevant degrees.
What you will be doing:
- Creating packaging and digital assets for brand
- Creating new packaging concepts, label artwork and new digital designs
- Deliver these from concept to reality, within deadline
- Working across the business, forming lasting and effective relationships with different departments
- Thinking commercially, as well as creatively, to bring the brand to live online and offline
Junior Engineer
Ideal Degree Disciplines: Relevant engineering degrees, for example Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
