About The Role

Successful applicants to the LCR Grad Scheme will receive a permanent job offer to work with an SME in the Liverpool City Region. We recruit on behalf of a range of SMEs who you would meet at final round interview. The scheme will allow you to gain practical experience and a six-month training and development programme.

Accounts Assistant

What you will be doing:
  • Purchase ledger duties - uploading and coding of invoices and handling supplier queries.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Sales ledger duties - raising sales invoices, checking coding and handling queries.
  • Credit control duties
  • Daily bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end reporting.
  • General administrative duties as and when required. 

Digital Content Creator

What you will be doing:
  • Creating and updating content on websites and social media channels.
  • Liaising with venues and other partners to develop web content.
  • Understanding the company's market, website, business mode, customers and partners.
  • Develop the company's marketing and client strategy, and expand their range of services.
  • Handling customer email enquiries.
  • IT skills including email, word processing and spreadsheets.
 
Client & Procurement Executive

What you will be doing:
  • Actively promote the joinery and directs department to improve turnover.
  • Actively identify and bring in new businesses and expand the number of joiners employed.
  • Regularly keep in contact with suppliers, architects and builders to develop good working relationships.
  • Trained to price tenders for all joinery/directs related construction.
  • Trained on fire regulations and construction regulations so that you meet customer needs.
 
Business Support Executive

What you will be doing:
  • Update data within the company's business management system
  • Liaise with warehouse staff to keep accurate stock records of goods in & out
  • Liaise with suppliers and gather relevant information
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Self-starter and quick learner
  • High standard of written & spoken English

Content Creator

What you will be doing:
  • Working across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and TikTok for a number of projects in tech and music.
  • Creating captivating videos for social content that will drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Understand and interpret performance indicators an growth metrics in order to adjust creative for optimising posts.
  • Confident in producing and directing your own content when visiting events onsite.
  • Work as part of a team to brainstorm content ideas.
  • Identify and engage with social media influencers.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and approval processes. 

Business Development Executive

What you will be doing:
  • Support the Business Development Manager to identify new target clients and markets.
  • Support the team to prepare tenders and bids.
  • Monitor tender tracker for tender opportunities for the business.
  • Assist in preparing marketing collateral for the business.
  • Work with the company's marketing & PR consultants to develop the website and help write content.
  • Attend and represent the company at networking events.

Marketing Executive

What you will be doing:
  • Developing digital and non-digital marketing information to help increase the existing contract revenue.
  • Building rapport and managing relationships with key vendors.
  • Maintaining management reporting information.
  • Providing accurate reports and analysis to clients and company management to demonstrate effective return on investment
  • Using web analytics software to monitor the performance of client websites and make recommendations for improvement 

Writer
 
Ideal Degree disciplines: English Literature/Language, Modern Languages, All Humanities
 
What you will be doing:
  • Participating in all aspects of the editorial process.
  • Writing and checking reports for our daily and weekly information services.
  • Research on relevant trades and markets.
  • Tracking, analysing and interpreting supply and demand, trade and price data.
  • Engaging with information sources and interlocutors in all parts of the global cotton market.
 
Project Manager

What you will be doing:
  • Liaising with clients to take project briefs and understand requirements, ensuring project feedback and status reports to all parties. 
  • Understanding customer requirements and undertaking research into specified products and alternative product sourcing. 
  • Critical path management and managing all day-to-day operational aspects of the project. 

About You

To be eligible for our scheme you must have the right to work in the UK and a residential postcode in the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, Wirral, St Helens, Halton)

LCR Grads will have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • The ability to work independently and part of team.
  • Confidence to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging social media platforms.
